First Dive

The first dive is a key moment in the life of a diver and will influence the pursuit or the ending of diving. For that reason, Thibault is especially careful and mindful of your feelings. The first dive is accessible to all, from age 8, and is limited to a 6 meter depth (materials and depth adapted to children).
Breathe underwater, adapt to weightlessness, let yourself be guided into this moment of discovery and intense emotion !

After a satisfying passage in the cold and rough waters of the Antarctic high latitudes, the humpback whales migrate to more favorable waters to give birth and breed. Some groups come to our waters to find peace and rest.
We can observe them with all respect from August to October. Sometimes, if conditions allow us, we can gently slip into water for a few minutes beside them. And if they accept us, swimming along with those giant creatures of the ocean will give you everlasting memories ! The Austral islands are known for their high concentration of whales during season.

Thibault and his captain will welcome you and take you on a discovery journey of the magnificent ocean bottoms of Tubuai. Fully equipped with brand-new Scubapro equipment, very well-kept and taken care of, you’ll be able to dive completely stress-free!

After an amazing dive, you will be offered hot tea and biscuits on board!

Sewen, («The marine Turtle» in Drehu dialect)
Motorized by a 200hp Suzuki V6, this 7m aluminum boat manufactured by the Marinalu shipyard in Raiatea is of excellent comfort at sea. A potimarara hull in a deep «V» shape guarantees a good passage of the wave. It can accommodate 10 people, has a large awning as well as 2 large parrot scales for going back on board. There is plenty of storage space to keep your belongings dry and everything you need for first aid and oxygen therapy is always on board.

It is approved to NUC standards by the State Maritime Affairs Service, the Polynesian Maritime Affairs Department as well as the Youth and Sports Department.
